The brand's story begins with two sisters and one vision. Founded in 2013 by siblings, best friends Lizzie and Georgie Renkert, We Are Kindred is an Australian brand of unique women's clothing. From its humble beginnings on Georgie's Surry Hills Terrace to its current design office and flagship store in Paddington, the Kindred brand continues to grow and evolve. A well-coordinated brand team is more like a family and it can be honestly said that the sisters love what they do every day with great passion. They draw on over 30 years of collective experience in the fashion industry. Their distinctive style is luxurious bohemian. Lizzie studied media / journalism and spent many years working for famous women's magazines, Marie Claire and Madison in turn. Georgie holds an honors degree in design and prior to launching Kindred, she worked in purchasing and product development for Australia's largest fashion retailers. Each collection is created with unforced femininity in mind. We believe in easy and versatile dressing - our wardrobes are full of Kindred garments that can take us from the desk to dinner, from the beach to the bar.
